Zig and Unik System Design announced a legal merger on 7 May 2026, forming a pan-European property-technology group backed by Main Capital Partners. The combined entity employs more than 500 people and serves over 1,000 customers across the Benelux, Nordics, DACH and France. Main Capital retains a majority shareholding, with a significant minority held by founders and management. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals.

Zig provides property-management software to more than 500 housing associations and commercial real estate organizations, with over 350 employees and operations in the Netherlands, Germany and France. Unik, a Danish PropTech firm with around 220 employees, serves nearly 450 customers in Denmark and Sweden from offices in Vejle, Aalborg, Copenhagen, Stockholm and Warsaw. Andrew de la Haije, currently CEO of Zig, will lead the new group as CEO, while Unik CEO Jens Find becomes Managing Director Nordics.
