Johnson Controls acquires Alloy Enterprises from Orix Capital Partners
The deal adds a proprietary manufacturing process and enhanced heat transfer efficiency to Johnson Controls' data center cooling portfolio.
Johnson Controls has purchased Alloy Enterprises from Orix Capital Partners, gaining a proprietary manufacturing process and enhanced heat transfer technology that deepens its end-to-end data center cooling capabilities.
Alloy, based in Boston, developed a thermal management platform for high-performance data centers and mission-critical industrial applications.
The platform improves efficiency and heat transfer across a range of cooling systems, complementing Johnson Controls' existing suite of data center cooling technologies.
Johnson Controls, a global provider of thermal management, building systems, and energy efficiency solutions, announced the acquisition in February and closed the transaction.
CEO Joakim Weidemanis said the Alloy team will join the company and help address demand for thermal performance in AI-driven and mission-critical environments.
