Bregal Milestone made a majority growth investment in meteoviva, a provider of AI-powered predictive building energy management software.

Meteoviva uses a physics-based thermodynamic model and AI to manage energy consumption across commercial real estate portfolios. The company said its systems are deployed in more than 500 buildings across 19 countries, representing 11.5 million square meters of real estate under active control. The investment will support European expansion, continued development of meteoviva's AI and autonomous control roadmap, and a broader product suite for commercial real estate owners and operators. Founding shareholders will retain a significant minority stake.
