Hidden River Strategic Capital invested in Nipples, Elbows & Couplings, known as NEC, through a recapitalization of the business.

NEC is based in Houston and manufactures PVC-coated electrical conduit and fittings for infrastructure markets including wastewater, midstream energy and datacenters.

Hidden River said the company’s BlackGuard coating is designed for use in corrosive environments and that the transaction gives NEC added flexibility to pursue capacity expansion, geographic growth and customer-service initiatives.

Hidden River partnered with Valesco Industries, GMB Capital Partners and company management on the recapitalization.
